ANGELA WILLIAMS 

Angela Williams is the award-winning founder and director of Mothers Against Murderers Association (MAMA) in West Palm Beach, Florida, through which she coordinates support services for grieving families – including support groups, raising funds/negotiating prices with funeral homes so that proper funerals can be arranged, and setting up meetings between perpetrators and victims’ families to reduce retaliation and encourage closure. Williams also supports after-school youth programs to help prevent violence. She has lost multiple family members to violence.
